Season 1 covers the first 30 chapters of Wool; the book has 82 chapters. Fans located on the floor in different sections spin in the wrong direction as far as blade orientation. I haven’t read or heard of the books Silo is based on. The story is good and interesting. The show takes place 140 years after the apocalypse. The remaining 10,000 people live in the silo and have never left it. They don’t even know what stars are. However, they know that going beyond the silo is fatal. Some people decide to go out to discover more, but they always die. Those who remain in the silo can witness through the window every time someone wants to leave, and see how and when they die. Rebecca Ferguson plays Juliette Nichols, who tries to find out what’s outside the silo and why they can’t leave without dying. The performances are good and the character development is good as well. However, the pacing can be a bit slow as there are some filler episodes. They could definitely shorten the series by at least two episodes, but it doesn’t bother me too much because the series as a whole is so good. I’m looking forward to season 2. With more suspense, mystery, and answers to what’s going on outside the silo!
